We’re happy to announce it’s time that we can begin meeting back together. With the efforts to keep everyone healthy… and to abide within the governmental mandate… we’ve instuted several new changes.

Pastor B goes over what you can expect when you arrive in his video post. We’ve also detailed the changes below.

Entering and Exiting

There will only be one entrance to our facility: the left most double doors at the Main Entrance.  Once service concludes, you may exit through either the double doors closest to the restrooms or at the end of the hall.

Food and Beverages

Food or beverages will not be offered at our facility during service times until further notice.

Space and Seating

We ask that everyone maintain a safe distance from one another as much as possible while on church property. This will help maintain the safety of any “at risk” service attenders. After entering the building, seating attendants will usher households (family units) to a section and make sure there are at least 3 seats between each household group.

Masks and Sanitation

We encourage all of our attendees to wear a mask inside our facility when possible. If you do not have a mask or face covering of some kind, we will be providing a limited supply in the foyer. Hand Sanitizer stations are setup as well.

Until further notice, we will not be passing any type of giving bag or offering plate. Instead, you are free to give one of the following ways:

Give in person by placing your tithe and offerings in the wall mounted box at the back of the sanctuary or in the white containers on the stage.

Give by mail by sending a check to:
CVAG Church
PO Box 207
Gum Spring, 23065

Give through your bank by setting up Central Virginia Assembly of God as a payee and entering our address there.

Give online right here on our website by tapping “Give” under the menu or following this link.

Until further notice, all of CVAG Church’s children’s ministries and nursery care are cancelled. We encourage you to bring crayons and notebooks or other items that will help young children worship God and learn on their level during our service.

In Person and Online Services

While we’re excited to see you again, you are under NO obligation or pressure to attend. If you’re not ready to begin meeting in person for health reasons or concerns, take advantage of our live services. We will be sending out a link where you can participate in an online format. Please be patient as we work through any weakpoints in our system over the next few weeks.

Wisdom, Patience and Encouragement

Let’s move forward with all the wisdom, patience and encouragement that fits people who follow Christ. While this is a challenging time – it’s also a time of opportunity. We’re believing God to increase the opportunities for us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ like never before.

We love you and we’re thankful that you belong to the CVAG Church family!
