Day 19: Summer: Nurturing Growth

Day 19: Summer: Nurturing Growth

Summer is a season of fulfillment! The winter has passed and the sun is shining. All the things that have been done in secret are now clear for everyone to see. It’s a moment in time where we are able to benefit from all the hard work we demonstrated. It is God’s faithfulness bringing to light His sovereign provision in our lives. There is evidence!

Summer is a time when we get to enjoy the reward of our labor. But with every season there are potential dangers that we must be aware of and with abundance always comes the threat of distraction. Distractions can cause us to overlook or neglect the things that are necessary even in a season of fulfillment. Just like in a marriage; when you’re enjoying a great season, it doesn’t mean that you can be complacent and stop giving to the other person. It doesn’t mean that you stop sowing into their life. You sow in and out of season!
