Day 25: Sowing Joy

Day 25: Sowing Joy

The best way to develop joy is to develop purpose. When we understand our purpose, personally and corporately, we know where we are going. It gives us vision and parameters on how to live our life. It gives us balance. The Bible says, “Find out what pleases God and do it.” Once we know what pleases God, we can do it well. It produces joy!

Researchers found that the most joyful Christians have four specific characteristics:

1. A feeling of being forgiven

2. Forgiving others

3. A feeling of life purpose

4. A strong sense of gratitude

Let’s take a look at each of these characteristics more closely so that we can allow the seeds of joy to grow deep in our soil.
