Day 24: Sowing Truth
In order for us to build strong lives in God we must first know the truth. In John 8:31–32 (NIV) Jesus says, “If you hold to my teaching…Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” We can be sure that the more truth we sow into our lives, the greater the harvest of freedom we will reap. Truth does not change. It transcends ALL things; age, race, generation, circumstances, economic status, celebrity, education, etc. The truth in God’s word will never die or grow old and out of date. It is alive and continues to be the same through every generation past and every generation to come. When we plant this truth in our life we have a guarantee! That guarantee is that His truth planted in our life will not produce nothing! How do we know that? Remember that He promises in Isaiah 55:10–11 that His word will not return to Him empty because it is planted with purpose and it will produce a plentiful harvest in our lives, in season.
