Day 22: Sowing Faith
Faith is a force to be reckoned with! It’s the defining characteristic of a Christ follower. In Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) the Bible says that “…without faith it’s impossible to please God.” I would like to say it another way: ’It’s impossible to see God without faith.’ Faith is so powerful that when we declare what we believe in faith, mountains move and storms are stilled! The wind and waves of turmoil and trouble respond immediately, and disease and sickness have to leave. That’s some powerful stuff!
Growing faith from the inside and having it confirmed on the outside is like having the same radio station playing in different rooms of the house. It confirms what the Holy Spirit is saying to us internally and we see that God is consistent with what He is saying to us. This increases our faith and expectancy and therefore our capacity to hear the voice of God. If you lack faith today, don’t worry…. Ask for more!!
